Need To Fundraise $3,500 For Improving Vision And Literacy In A Third-World? No Worries!
COFFEE.

We are raising funds to help support a local community project in Kathmandu, Nepal. This May, 9 UBC Rotaractors will be going to Kathmandu, Nepal, to provide vision tests to over 3,000 children in the community, with the help of the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town, Nepal. Every dollar raised will be going towards the purchase of spectacles for these children, in addition to educational materials, such as books and classroom supplies. Please help us reach the fundraising goal of $3,500 by spreading this event, asking your friends, family, coworkers, colleagues, and arch-enemies if they would like to support this project through caffeination!!!

OK, BUT HOW DOES THIS WORK?

1) Download the attached PDF’s (Order Form and Description).
2) SELL COFFEE – You need to get money (cash-in-hand) or Cheque (Made payable to: The UBC Rotaract Club)
3) Bring your Order form And All money to our next general meeting at 6pm on Feb. 23rd, 2015, at UBC Campus (ANGU 235)
4) Retrieve your order the following week, on Mar. 2nd, 2015, at UBC Campus (ANGU 235) to give the coffee to your friends and families.

*** If you cannot make either the Due Date for order forms of Feb. 23rd, or the order pick-up on Mar. 2nd let Matthew know and we can arrange a separate meeting time.
*** *** A PRIZE (of undetermined nature) will be awarded to the person who sells the most coffee bags!! More to come on this, but bragging rights alone should be convincing enough 😉

ANY QUESTIONS? Post here or reply to Matthew: matthew.saunders@alumni.ubc.ca or 778-808-5302.

THANKS! 🙂
Go Team!
