This is a fundraiser taking place in Burnaby. Assistance will be needed with the silent auction and other tasks
This will be a great chance to connect with fellow Rotarians, eat great food, and mingle!
Only a few volunteers are needed to help with the set-up and take down.


Hoop-A-Thon Fundraiser | Rotary Club of Vancouver-Sunrise | Call for Volunteers and Donation | June 6 | RSVP Soon

Already 8 of our club members are going, so should you!
On June 6, 2015 we will join over 50 inner city kids, representing their 500 teammates, and shoot “free throws” to raise money together with Rotarians, alumni players and VIPs in the 9th annual Hoop-A-Thon.
The event supports the Strathcona Rotary Youth Development Program helping kids in families who are financially challenged.
The Program promotes teamwork, leadership skills, community involvement, education and respect for others.

Bike-A-Thon Fundraiser | Rotary Club of Vancouver | Call for Volunteers | July 12 | RSVP Soon

Members of other Rotaract Clubs will also be joining us for this fun event on July 12!
Approximately 10 volunteers are needed to run the water stations throughout the event. You are encouraged to come up with your own theme:)
This will be a great chance to donate your time to great community projects and get to know Rotarians from our sponsoring club
Register as a Rider or as a Fundraiser and help support the RHF Hearing Foundation’s work in support of the deaf and hard of hearing in BC.

Car Wash Fundraiser

UBC Rotaract Club of Vancouver is having a car wash this Saturday, April 11th. Come by 41st and Dunbar to get your car a nice bath!
All the funds will go to support the Vision Screening program in Nepal where 9 Rotaracters will deliver eye exams on 3500 students in May.

Come support this good cause by getting you car washed 🙂

Get ready for an epic start of the year. Saturday, January 31 will feature a number of entertainment activities that will make for a memorable day.
3:00pm – 5:00pm – Indoor Pool/Hot Tub/Sauna
5:00pm – 6:00pm – Freshen Up
6:00pm – 10:30pm – Potluck/Socializing/Dancing
10:30pm – late – GASTOWN: THE BOURBON! (50 West Cordova) – Our club VP (Danny W) will ride the mechanical bull, you do not want to miss this
Location: YALETOWN, Downtown Vancouver (address will be shown once you RSVP)
For the pool: bring your swimwear, towel and toiletries. These can be left behind to pick up another day should you choose to indulge in late night endeavours after 10:30pm.

A $7 cash fee at the door will apply for the amenities above along with food/beverages 🙂

Need To Fundraise $3,500 For Improving Vision And Literacy In A Third-World? No Worries!

We are raising funds to help support a local community project in Kathmandu, Nepal. This May, 9 UBC Rotaractors will be going to Kathmandu, Nepal, to provide vision tests to over 3,000 children in the community, with the help of the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town, Nepal. Every dollar raised will be going towards the purchase of spectacles for these children, in addition to educational materials, such as books and classroom supplies. Please help us reach the fundraising goal of $3,500 by spreading this event, asking your friends, family, coworkers, colleagues, and arch-enemies if they would like to support this project through caffeination!!!


1) Download the attached PDF’s (Order Form and Description).
2) SELL COFFEE – You need to get money (cash-in-hand) or Cheque (Made payable to: The UBC Rotaract Club)
3) Bring your Order form And All money to our next general meeting at 6pm on Feb. 23rd, 2015, at UBC Campus (ANGU 235)
4) Retrieve your order the following week, on Mar. 2nd, 2015, at UBC Campus (ANGU 235) to give the coffee to your friends and families.

*** If you cannot make either the Due Date for order forms of Feb. 23rd, or the order pick-up on Mar. 2nd let Matthew know and we can arrange a separate meeting time.
*** *** A PRIZE (of undetermined nature) will be awarded to the person who sells the most coffee bags!! More to come on this, but bragging rights alone should be convincing enough 😉

St. Patrick’s Day Revelry @ The Bimini – UBC Rotaract Nepal Project

St. Patty’s Day = Tues. March 17th….

You = At The Bimini with all your friends, helping to support a great student cause!!!!

Join UBC Rotaract on Mar.17th as we hold an event to raise funds towards our International Service Project in Nepal. Early-Bird tickets are $10 and include cover, a FREE drink (option of Beer, Wine, or Highball), AND entry into our St. Patrick’s Day Costume Contest. Yes, there will be prizes so be sure to dress up, go all out and get super excited!!!!

Tickets for this 19+ Event: $10 and can be purchased from: Dafna @ 778-986-7090 OR Jessica @ 778-988-9123. They will also be available at our meetings on Monday, March. 9th and 16th from 6-7pm at ANGU 235.
